Meet Nidhi Chandhoke, the founder of 'Fine Fakes'

With over 18 years in publishing, I pursued a long-held vision of building something of my own. That dream found its true purpose when a personal loss — the theft of cherished jewellery gifted by my husband — shifted my perspective entirely.

I realized women deserve jewellery that looks luxurious and feels elegant, without the fear of losing something irreplaceable. Fine Fakes was born from this insight: premium heritage-inspired designs in American Diamond that capture fine jewellery's beauty at accessible prices.

Every piece we curate is for women who want to feel radiant at weddings, celebrations, and special moments — confident and joyful, never constrained by cost.

Fine Fakes Story

Jewellery has always been more than an accessory to me. Since childhood, I was fascinated by the stunning pieces women wore at family weddings and celebrations. The sparkle, the elegance, the confidence it gave them — it always stayed with me.

Years later, even while working a full-time job, I found myself drawn back to jewellery again and again. Whenever I got the chance, I participated in jewellery exhibitions, simply because I loved being surrounded by beautiful designs. At the same time, my husband used to encourage to convert this passion of your into full time job. That remark of his has always had a special place in my heart and consciousness. 

But life gave me an unexpected turning point!

Some of the real jewellery that meant the most to me — especially pieces gifted by my husband — was lost in a theft. The emotional loss was far greater than the financial one. Those pieces carried memories, love, and moments that can never truly be replaced.

That experience changed my perspective and turned back my long time held concious feeling into full time enterpreneurship following my passion of "curating jewellery peices" for all beautiful women out there!

I realised that women deserve jewellery that looks luxurious, feels elegant, and elevates their confidence — without the fear of losing something priceless.

And that is how this brand was born.

My mission is simple:
